Voyager-19 (2024)

I was house-bound on Halloween because I was sick and I have two little kids. Instead of watching a scary movie I decided to play a short scary game and found Voyager-19 in my backlog.
The most concise way I can describe Voyager-19 is to say that it is Iron Lung in space. Which if you haven't played Iron Lung, means:
- Controlling a claustrophobicly small vessel.
- Navigating an existentially horrifying and spooky map.
- You can only see the world through photographs.
- Clunky controls that add to the stress.
- Your character is left for dead.
- PS1 graphics aesthetics.
Voyager-19 differentiates itself in a few ways:
- Your resources dwindle over time forcing you to make shitty trade-offs.
- The interface degrades over time adding to your strain as a player.
- In space (duh)
If you like short spooky games this is a great way to spend 40 minutes!
